When Life Gives You Peaches...

Make a peach cobbler of course! Yum Yum!

My husband and I were given a huge box of peaches from my uncle who got them for a local orchard. I knew right away I had to make a cobbler. Don't get me wrong, the peaches were yummy by themselves, but when my family was begging me for a cobbler, I could not deny them. So now I am going to share my recipe with you all.

2-3 cups of fresh peaches (skinned and peeled-its up to you if you do this)
1/2 cup of sugar~could be less depending on the sweetness of you peaches
1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour, 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1/8 teaspoon salt (sifted together)
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350. Place peaches in greased baking dish ( I used my 8x8) Sprinkle your sugar over top the peaches. Cream together your butter and sugar. Add your flour. Stir well. Then add your milk, vanilla and cinnamon to the mixture. Spoon over your peaches. Bake 35-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
